In light of the horrific events that have happened in Japan, JoinTheLeaders is taking charge in raising awareness of the devastating situations and collecting funds for our neighbors abroad.
Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Crisis
Mother Nature continues to remind us to take good care of her in the harshest way. The devastating earthquake and tsunami has left Japan with more than 16,000 people missing or confirmed dead and more than 450,000 people have been made homeless. Rescue workers are spending countless hours to search for survivors, prevent further damage at nuclear plants, and aid survivors that have lost virtually everything.
What are we doing for Japan?
JoinTheLeaders is an organization that is dedicated “to develop the next generation of inspirational leaders”. We have come full circle and have dedicated a project named Lead By Example to contribute to community events and be involved with charitable organizations. We aim to offer a helping hand to those in need in Japan by starting a nation-wide online campaign to educate and raise funds. The online campaign starts with a partnership through the Save The Children via First Giving for their Japan Earthquake Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund.
